Lady Cats on BTN 9pm E tonight

Should be an interesting game. MSU is good, but their coach (Suzy Merchant) fainted at the Illinois game, then felt faint at their last game at Rutgers and is still hospitalized in NJ, I believe. She has taken a medical leave of absence and won't be coaching this evening. And we;re obviously still dealing with Jordan's death (funeral is on Thursday, I believe).

Just a gritty victory, 76-65 to improve to 4-2 in the BIG and 15-4 overall. Nia had an off night and snapped her consecutive games in double figures streak, and Christen Inman (knee) didn't play at all, but it didn't matter. Amber Jamison, Jordan Hankins' roommate last year and her best friend on the team, had a career high 22 points and was just amazing to watch. She has now scored one less bucket total in the last two games than she had the ENTIRE SEASON prior.

I was really impressed with the Wildcat grit, especially after a 13 point halftime lead became a 3 point third quarter deficit.

I was watching off and on (Mich-Wisky was pretty entertaining) but I recall the halftime lead was just 1 point, 37-36.....

What he meant was, we had a 13 point lead earlier in the first half which got cut to one by halftime. Noah is usually fairly good with math.

He may be good at math, but his writing skills need work......

My writing was on autopilot for something else.

Oddly enough, Carthage was on the wrong end of an early 28-15 score tonight and suffered the same fate as MSU... though a different final score.
