Let’s win today

We win and this game is not talked about a ton after today.

We lose and it’s the talk for years to come. Especially if there’s something… I don’t know, like a goaltend

I hope that goal tend, which was so obvious on replay, is in the back of the refs mind the whole game.

Actually, it's the opposite. We win and make the Sweet 16, this game will exist in Wildcat lore. We lose, and it will be like that avocado salad we had last week.

We had avocado salad last week?

If we win today, I'll talk about the game a ton by myself.

If we win today, I promise the Sporting gods that I won't pester them again for anything the rest of the year!

Everybody saying NU isn't good enough, which seems like what they need to reach peak performance level.

Can someone explain gambling lingo to me? At the end of each game report, they have a list of experts who pick against the spread and then straight up. The guy Cobb appears to pick UCLA against the spread even though they are giving up 7.5 points. I always thought that meant he expects UCLA to win by at least 8. But then, in the Straight Up row, he picks Northwestern, which I thought meant he picked NU to win the actual game. Seems a bit of a conflict. I must not understand this.

One of those is an error. All others make sense.

Winning today would be the greatest win in program history. Therefore, I disagree
I understand that logic. But win today and your focus shifts to the next one. And so on. Until you lose and obsess over what could have gone differently and led to a win.

In other words, do we talk much about beating Vanderbilt compared to losing to Gonzaga?

We only talk about Gonzaga a lot because of the controversial play that halted our exciting comeback. We all feel cheated. Oh... and also the crying kid. If we had lost that game by 20, we wouldn't discuss it.

I sat in literally top row for bsu game. Still could see every play well. Lots of fun! The big screen was fairly cool too. Sat next to ucla fans mostly. They didn't seem all that concerned about beating nu. Hope we can pull shocker. Thing is, those ucla fans were blase about it all. Don't think they'd be like the arizona fans after princeton upset. Not sure why ucla fans were so mellow. Even during their blowout win, they really didn't get all that excited. Nu fans went wild the whole game vs bsu. I yelled and hollered a lot. My wife seemed to think that they announcers and refs were pulling for bsu. Their short dudes hit some miracle horse shots that kept them in it. And they had two nice dunks- and got some miracle bounce rebounds as well. Kings have nice arena. Outside nice too. Our walking/eating tour guide told us the authorities cleared out all the homeless people away from stadium/city blocks near stadium b4 games. Still saw a bunch. Sad. Even worse than chicago. Like new orleans

UCLA fans are typically pretty relaxed. Mixture of a CA laid-back attitude, their history, and having high expectations. It’s less snobby than it is a low key confidence. Unless they are playing USC.

Nice that the presence of homeless humans wasn’t there to sully your view.
