I get that, though given Chicago's March and April temperatures, night games don't really sound that appealing! This is an issue that needs to be rectified. Embarrassing that a big 10 program doesn’t have lights. Do they think we play at Wrigley Field?

My sister was on the team for the 'Cats for a couple of years before blowing out her shoulder. During that time, I got the opportunity to take a few swings. My experience — despite being above average at a bunch of sports that involved hitting balls — was that hitting a top softball pitcher was terrifying, whether it was light out or not!Not necessarily night games, per se, just the ability to utilize proper lighting when games go long early in the season.
