It's going to be very hard for any of our opponents to score against our defense. In fact, the 3 FG's and 1 TD against our defense have mostly been the result of a turnover. Our depth has also prevented any letdown in the closing quarter.

I know there is talk about replacing CT but I think he is exactly what we need right now. He is our future so we have to be all in with him. Eventually he will build the confidence he needs and grow to be more comfortable in the pocket. Yes, we may even lose a game or two due to his mistakes, but we don't have anyone else that is capable.

I do have a question for the board, did we have a QB transfer out or quit? I know that we have Alviti, a freshman kid, and Oliver on the current roster but with 5 recruiting years, shouldn't there be more than 4 QB's? Who am I missing?

There was no transfer. NU failed to bring a QB in for the class of 2012.

ZO was the QB in the class of 2011.
There was no QB in 2012.
MA was in the class of 2013.
TC was in the class of 2014.
And Lloyd Yates was in the incoming freshman class, with TJ Green as a preferred walk-on.

Off the top of my head we also have Yates and walk ins Kubuick and Yates. Salem was recruited as a QB but now is a WR.

IMO, Green will force Yates to another position. Much stronger arm and much farther advanced. I wouldn't be surprised if Green backs up Thorson next year.

Let's just go 1-0 this week. (I want them to still be undefeated when I get there for the Minn game!)

Aidan Smith also looks like a winner, incoming freshman from the 2016 class.
