Louis Ayeni to Denver

Could still be. Learn from one of the best NFL head coaches with a mind for offense. Return to NU later as OC or HC.
Let’s not forget of Kafka, Strief, or Austin King.

We will have 4 potential HC or OC candidates in the near future with incredible bona fides, significant NFL experience, and a deeply rooted love for Northwestern.

The thought of that cheers me up a bit. Right @CoralSpringsCat ?

We need to keep an open mind. There are drawbacks to always swimming in our own bath water.

These guys are great, but they aren't the only good coaches in the market. We are a wealthy athletics program.

WEALTHY.

We can afford to buy any coaches we want...if we are willing. I might even argue that we should be spending more on our coaches than the Ohio States and Michigans of the world.

Wow looking to fill yet another coaching vacancy. And it’s essentially March.

what's really impressive/fascinating is these guys picking up NFL gigs on the heels of a pair of progressively worse losing seasons (VT was 6-7 in 2021, so it still plays).

Position coaches aren’t necessarily directly responsible for team results.

Why turn a great promotion for Lou into a swipe at NU football? Where does your hatred originate?
It's just sarcasm. Picking on Fitz for his loyalty to underperforming coaches. I like Louis, and there's nothing I want more for the program than for Fitz to turn it around for NU.
