This week's Korn Ferry/PGA qualifying tournament will include Harrington, Wu, and Lipsky, but no Luke Donald. Does anyone know why Donald isn't entered? He wasn't in the top 125 in PGA points. Does he have his tour card for next year through some other qualifying criterion (career money)?

Because he was world number one,or something good like that,he gets a one year exemption, which he will use next year,I think

Yes, but I think that has now expired.

And he didn't earn enough to keep his card, so he'd have to rely on some other status, maybe past champion in some events? Sponsor's invites? He probably has some Euro tour status as well. He's got a ways to go before he can play in the Tour Champions events.

He may also be eligible based upon his lifetime earnings on the Tour

Luke is now worth 40 million, 19th all-time. He was number 1 in the world for 56 weeks. If he plays more tournaments that's fine, but I really don't think he's sweating it much.
