Many Northwestern fans are also unimpressed with NU.
Meh. NU has been pretty bipolar this year. A lot of the talk focuses on the geometry of bowl matchups and rankings impact. At least there are some entertaining comments.

We will have to impress them with a Pinstripe Bowl victory. We are as good as any team when we show up to play in the trenches.

Exactly. If the team that beat Iowa and played OSU tough at their house shows up (especially both lines), we can compete. If not, well...
Big deal. Espn said most likely to lose to. We seem to do better when no one thinks we have a chance. If we can run ball even average, we will score a ton. Just hope we contain the edge and Doc let's the young corners press up some. If we give up that 7 yard first down pass all day we will give up 60.
I have to say I thought both lines played really well at MSU as well. I know they were only 3-9 this year but that was a make-or-break game for them and we put 54 points up on them in their own stadium (many more than either OSU or Michigan did). And 21 of State's points came on a pick 6 and two rather fortunate long pass plays.
I think I found one on the corner of "Happy" and "Safe."

If you guys have a chance to spend some time on the Pitt boards, I think you will find them a pretty informed group. There are a good variety of threads there, including one on the Rams firing Jeff Fisher. I guess it is because of the Aaron Donald connection. It's cool to see that much football talk going on there.
