Yeah, I have a bad feeling about this season to be honest. We absolutely need to win tonight and show some improvement over the past 3 games as well. It is going to be like climbing Everest to make it to a bowl. Only teams I think we can beat maybe is Iowa and Wisconsin at this point. The teams in the east are going to rough us up to put it nicely.

We don't have a prayer against Wisconsin but maybe Iowa. We literally could lose every game the rest of the season, but conversely with the right breaks and some improvement we could win quite a few games. But Maryland looks really tough.

I am with you. Wisconsin looked bad at the outset, but we just stink. Too many if us liked what we saw in Dublin, or at least thought we were competitive. Too bad our competition turned out to be horrid. Not a good gauge on how the team really is.

We will know for sure only if we lose. If we beat a Miami (OH) team playing with a backup QB, I don't know how much we actually learn from that.

Otherwise though, yeah, you can see why the East teams are happy to finally move away from a divisions structure, because at least three teams over there would be heavy favorites in the West and the middle tier teams just have a hell of a time breaking through in a meaningful way. Maryland would be a threat in the west too, they're a better purdue.

You are right, especially if the game is a squeker. We need to see a blowout to feel any better about the team going forward.
