Big Ten Media Days Notebook: Braun more comfortable in second season

"We're looking for guys that are low ego and high output". Have to like this approach to hiring coaching staff. Braun walks the talk and sets a great example of what this means. While I'm sure he did not mean this as a repudiation of Fitz, it definitely contrasts Fitz's Alpha dog schtick, which wore thin during his last two losing years. That Alpha disappeared when instead of owning up, his response to the hazing scandal was a weasel-ish "I'm not in charge of that". All told, we got very lucky getting Braun after all the bungling by Schill and Gragg.
