There's just enough film out there to know I like this kid's game ... a lot. Sure hope his guardian takes a strong liking to Collins and the staff. Yavuz has the potential to be a special college player.

Why Cumberland and Bishop Walsh? There's a lot better basketball around Baltimore and Washington.

It is interesting as Walsh has played mostly small school competition in the past, including one of my favorite school district names — Turkeyfoot Valley in Confluence, Pa. They'd better hope this kid is very good because they need help. They did play two noted D.C. Catholic programs last year, Gonzaga and DeMatha, and lost 87-38 and 100-26.
