Neither has hired an agent, but both are projected as first rounders. Assuming they do in fact leave, that's a pretty big blow to Big Blue for this season.

Wow. Wagner and Wilson both finished well, but looked like guys who could use another season in college. That certainly dims Michigan's prospects if they go pro. Haas is another one who could benefit from another year. He'd probably get more minutes this year with Swanigan gone. Works out for NU, but the B1G is going to suck if these type of defections continue.

Analysts on BTN were saying they are still likely to come back. It depends on what they learn over the next month and NBA evaluation period.

I'm certainly no scout - and this comment is likely to prove that - but IMO, Mo Wagner is a fine college player with NBA potential and a relatively low-to-midrange ceiling, while D.J. Wilson seems like a better NBA prospect, a guy who could perhaps be the third key player on a very good team. How far off am I?

I think that's accurate. Teams will like Mo for his range at his size, but I don't see him ever being more than a role player in the NBA. DJ Wilson certainly has the physical tools, he's one of those guys that a team might take a chance in the first round with if they feel he can develop.
