Mike Kafka Update: QB, Entrepreneur

Got to talk to our old #13 today and thought I'd give a quick update for those who are interested: Mike's doing well with his startup, Roo Outdoors, which he and his wife founded. He used Kickstarter to fund his newest product. He's going to the upcoming NFL veteran's combine and is earning his MBA as well. The link is the first in a series of articles he's done for Entrepreneur magazine.

Yet another strong graduate and great representative of Northwestern's football program.

The article speaks to leadership schools and I think Kafka really showed those in his senior season. Will never forget him taking the field with us down 28-3 to Indiana in the second quarter at home. You could see the "we are NOT going to lose this game" determination. Took us right down the field to a score and we rallied to win, 29-28.
