Minnesota cleaning up on OL recruits

The Gophers took Schluetter from us and added another highly regarded OL. Jerry Kill, whom I believe was hired for NIU by our own Jim Phillips, is proving to be a good Big Ten coach.

Schleutter is from MN. No real surprise, though he committed after his visit here,

Foster had a ton of offers, just not from us.

Well, we're not recruiting in a vacuum. The other schools are going to get some good ones, too. Just hope we get our share this year.

We had started to talk to Foster when he was a Sophomore. I am not sure if we cooled off on Jim or he cooled off on us, but something got in the way of further recruitment. Being in our backyard, I am sure there was something.
