Believe it or not, a victory tomorrow gives the Cats a school record 14th straight home win. Pretty amazing that has not happened before. Hope NU can pull it out.

These are the kinds of records we need to be setting. It's just one game but good teams do this stuff.
Here's hoping NU competes from the first second this time. SHOULD be close, but thought the same against MSU...
I predict Dererk will have a hand in our victory.
It's way too early and unfair to call this a "must-win", but a home game against a Big Ten opponent in which you are favored is about as close as you can get in early January.
After Minny's performance against MSU and Purdue I'm not sure we're much of a favorite, but I'll take a win of any kind.
I agree. This wouldn't fall into the category of a bad loss, and it's probably not a good enough win that it will be considered a good win (though the next two months will be the final decision maker on each of those). That being said, I agree that it's a game that we really need to win. Not an easy win by any stretch, but these are the games you have to win if you want to make the tournament. Lose a game like this, and you need to make it somewhere else and the road gets tougher and tougher.
I slept well last night, and am ready for the game. But I fear this Minnesota team might be quite good. Great to have Pardon back for this matchup, but I expect him to be rusty on offense. Hopefully he rebounds like a devil and we shoot well from the arc.
Did you see the Minny-MSU game? It was not exactly, shall we say, a basketball clinic....
