Misreading of Google's InsideNU Summary led to VegasInsider's misinformation about Injured QB?

Being curious to see if there was any confirmation about VegasInsider's puzzling reference to just named NU Starting QB Clayton Thorson as being "Out" for the Stanford game, just came across this, which upon a quick reading may have been misinterpreted:

"7 hours ago - Redshirt freshman Clayton Thorson, Northwestern's starting quarterback as of ... Taylor has been ruled out for the entire 2015 season with an ankle injury."

Someone at VegasInsider misread the separate reference to Taylor (separated only by ...) as still being about Thorson?

ALASKA...Thank you!!!!!!!!!! I figured something was wrong. Bad news for Taylor, but I'm very glad Thorson is in one piece

Someone could make a ton of money based on such a (what appears to be) mistake, assuming it had the consequence of moving the point spread?

In this case, I doubt it makes a ton of difference. We have no idea whether Thorson is going to better out of the gate than either Oliver or Alviti.

Spread hasn't moved much. First game of season, rookie ab, underdog...not really going to swing anything much.

I talked to a player this morning and he said "Thorson is gonna be a stud" so it's not true

It looks like there is a good chance he will be, eventually. But this will be his first game and he is not yet used to speed of the college game. To start out against a solid team like Stanford is not the easiest way to break in. Could be great or could make Frosh mistakes
