Upon rewatching this morning, I realized just how many opportunities the defense left on the field yesterday -- probably 4 or 5 missed INTs, VanHoose not making plays on the ball in the air, etc. If we make just one or two of those plays, the game has an entirely different feel.

The defense did not make a lot of big plays yesterday relative to the prior three tilts. The fumble inside the five was the key play for the fame, IMO, but absence of sacks and interceptions made the defensive effort seem less impacfptful. It was still a decent effort, especially in the depleted secondary.

Doesn't mean much, but the 'Cats gained more yds against BS and limited BS to fewer yds gained than did TAMU (who had a larger margin of victory; TAMU also got to play some against the other BS QB).

Agree with GCG, especially Godwin's batting down the interception. The two catches , one for a spectacular catch and the other a TD were both covered but missed. But if a frog had wings... have to put it all together again next week.
