Did not look good. Not sure if it’s Achilles but wouldn’t shock me.So - any thoughts on what happened? And what his downtime will be?
It looked more like his ankle turned on a funny stepDid not look good. Not sure if it’s Achilles but wouldn’t shock me.
That’s what I thought. Big dude rolled his ankle and big dude ankles swell up fast, and NU didn’t want to push him too hard given the relatively safe postseason status. It looked more like his ankle turned on a funny step
If it’s Achilles, what’s the recovery time? Does he make it back next season?I’m fearing this is an Achilles. Pretty sure Persa was able to limp off as well. I’m just praying he’s ok. We gotta grind out one more win to punch our ticket. We are not in yet. Don’t think we are. The Chicago State trash still lingers. Let’s all try and keep our heads up. We can still do this 💪
Not likely….its usually a full year minimum. If it’s Achilles, what’s the recovery time? Does he make it back next season?
I really don’t see why people think it’s his achilles. He clearly rolled over on his foot. It’s a foot or ankle injury. If it’s Achilles, what’s the recovery time? Does he make it back next season?
Because they are NU fans!I really don’t see why people think it’s his achilles. He clearly rolled over on his foot. It’s a foot or ankle injury.
Really? I feel like that would be a massive break. Hopefully just a sprain.I'm pretty sure foot was mentioned in the press conference.
Yes, that would not happen if it were the Achilles. My one hope is he got off and limped off fairly well on his own.
8 -10 months depending on the severity of the tearIf it’s Achilles, what’s the recovery time? Does he make it back next season?
What does that mean?Looked like an anterior/lateral spray
Interior D sort of disappeared when he went downThat’s what I thought. Big dude rolled his ankle and big dude ankles swell up fast, and NU didn’t want to push him too hard given the relatively safe postseason status.

Aaron Rodgers just came back from one aftee 3 months. He would have played at the end of the season had the Jets been in the playoff hunt.8 -10 months depending on the severity of the tear
Hopefully its a sprain and given we're at an intense point in the season, they decided to do some imaging, ice it up in locker room and keep it elevated in order to improve prospects for a fast recovery - rather than expect him to walk back out. Got no idea, but really really really hope that's the case.He didn’t return to the bench and I didn’t see him at all the rest of the game. That isn’t ideal.

It differs for each person. I sprained my ankle often when I was young and would be back the next day, for others it can take a while. You could see on tv he rolled his right foot to the right. Big body, and lots of weight on that bent foot. I’m no doc but risk saying 90% chance it’s a sprained ankle. How sprained? Hopefully back by at least MN.
If so that's not an ankle sprainWatching from behind the bench, he clearly said to coach 'I heard something pop'
That’s Achilles then and terminal. Would be awful news. Lots of chatter though on this so we’ll see.Watching from behind the bench, he clearly said to coach 'I heard something pop'
