It is Hinrich. He runs the camp (or at least he's the "name" who runs the camp).
There were Texas Tech rumors that Kansas was jumping in the mix at the last minute. Seeing Hinrich in Kansas shorts and Mooney playing for an extended time with a Kansas grad doesn't help minimize those rumors in my mind.

Kansas has eight guards...only two failed to earn four stars...and they have no schollies.

I have heard nothing of ku expressing interest in Mooney.
Between Dotson, Grimes and Garrett— I think Self is comfortable with his scoring options there. Dotson may play a lot of pg, but with Moore having a year under his belt- I think Self will also use Devon off the ball.
I don’t think it is a need spot for the Jayhawks.

Nothing else to discuss, so this is the main event for now. Great time of the year for pro sports, but lousy for college.
Kansas was trying to get grad transfer Joe Cremo.
Haven’t seen anything official that they are now in pursuit of Mooney.
True, but Cremo is an absolutely elite shooter— something KU does lack.
Mooney, though a great scorer, wouldn’t be described as such.
I think KU has scorers in the backcourt.
I dont see them going after Mooney, and I wouldn’t think Mooney would see the fit from a personnel standpoint.
You don't know why, but this was the perfect response to this particular poster.
Ok. You know your personnel better than I might. I’m speculating that ku feels it has multiple capable scoring options in the backcourt, even if no real strong shooter. If cats have same, I’ll defer to your better judgement.
Mooney is a great player but would do himself well to choose a place where its clear he can play major minutes on a high level.
i feel this is not good for NU. the longer it goes on the less likely it makes sense that he chooses NU unless he is waiting all the the way through summer to see what the team looks with the freshmen on campus

At times like these, when we wait for the NBT to make up his mind - I remember the words of the greatest basketball coach ever, Coach Norman Dale: "I would hope you would support who we are. Not, who we are not. These six individuals have made a choice to work, a choice to sacrifice, to put themselves on the line 23 nights for the next 4 months, to represent you, this high school. That kind of commitment and effort deserves and demands your respect. This is your team."
NU is going to be fine either way...the team has a ton of experienced talent.
We need a point guard to break the press. Got to get Mooney or someone on his level. Especially if Ash is hurt
