1. Connor McLaughlin ... The fast rising OT out of Tampa Jesuit will be on campus April 20th. Very high academic kid. Good looking athlete at 6-6 and 250 lbs. No reported NU offer yet, but another quality OL prospect with high end potential in the mix. Multiple Power 5 offers including Iowa, BC, Duke and Uva.
2. Treshawn Watson ... The 6-3 190 lb. WR/S from Antioch, Ill. will be on campus April 6th. Another good looking athlete. Recently visited Minnesota. Looks like N. Ill. is his only current offer, but his film is better than that.
3. Devin Hightower ... The 6-1 210 lb. LB out of Ohio powerhouse Akron Hoban will visit NU this weekend. Already offered by Iowa and Pitt. Has also visited Michigan, PSU and W. Va. If offered by NU this weekend, I predict he will commit soon after.
4. Carson Bruener ... The 6-2 LB out of Redmond Wa. has been offered by Oregon, Cal, Co. and Utah. Looking to visit Evanston the weekend of April 20th. Looks to be another quality prospect that NU is recruiting without a current offer on the table.
That's a wrap for now. Great to see quality prospects from around the country pursuing an offer from NU. Haven't seen much of that before now. A great indication of how the public perception of the program has significantly changed. Time and again we're seeing kids with options saying about NU:
1. Great football program.
2. Great HC and staff.
3. Insane facilities.
4. Great school.
5. An NU offer would be/is large in my recruitment.
