Moten?

Can anyone tell me how Moten has done? I know there was talk that with as fast as he is there was going to be a place for him possibly to contribute. I know he is a true freshman however.

Hearing he looks good in practice, but we have a lot of depth at RB. Keep in mind that we didn't see Anderson touch the ball once against Stanford, so it seems hard to see carries for Moten absent injury.

And I think that's a great thing. Moten has the speed and burst, but also a slightly lanky build right now. If he can take a redshirt year to get up in the 200 pound range, he should be a more complete running back.

It's a long season. Guys will get hurt. Not being a pessimist, just being realistic. Wait and see how it plays out (to paraphrase the head coach!).

I'm fine with that, but Long and Anderson are not duplicative backs...they (supposedly) have entirely different skillsets. It's more likely that Vault is taking Anderson's snaps. I just thought we'd see him at least once on an option or something. Maybe this week.

Im sure anderson is one reason why we can redshirt Moten. I look forward to seeing anderson this week.
