Does he identify at all with NU anymore? I remember once he was introduced before a big game and choose to tell what High School he went to instead of NU. I remember being really disappointed.Senator Napoleon Harris introduced the Raiders 3rd round draft pick. Looked very fit and poised.
Don't be disappointed. It just means he identifies more strongly with where he came from. And it seems he has focused on that and representing people in his hometown. We can be nothing but proud of him. I always thought it was quite powerful for him to choose "Napaloean Harris from Thornton high" instead of NU. I mean he could have said NU with great pride and prestige, right? But he chose to identify with who he is and where he came from. So, I don't look at it as a slight against NU, but as a man who never forgot where he came from. imo.Does he identify at all with NU anymore? He actually said Dixmoor University before the Super Bowl, paying tribute to his hometown rather than Northwestern or Thornton. He's an absolute credit to NU, an example of a kid from a disadvantaged area truly taking advantage of opportunities that don't normally make it out that way. One of my all time favorites.Does he identify at all with NU anymore? I remember once he was introduced before a big game and choose to tell what High School he went to instead of NU.
