Rutgers is the worst at 101. First time I can recall that happening. 8 in the top-50 and two in the top 10.

what's the difference between kenpom, where we are 44 and RPI where we are 127

RPI is based entirely on opponents' winning percentage (and opponents' opponents' winning percentage), while KenPom and other computer systems measure a ton of different metrics like offensive and defensive efficiency.

The selection committee used to use RPI almost exclusively as its ranking system. Fortunately that is no longer the case, because NU wouldn't make any postseason tournament right now using RPI. KenPom 44 would probably have us in the tournament, though we'd be something like a 10 or 11 seed. But the committee won't use KenPom exclusively either.

For a few hours this evening every BIG team was actually in the top 90, until Illinois choked away another one. All are still in top-100 though; Illinois now the worst at 98, behind even Rutgers and Nebby.
