with all the upgrades and focus on Wilson Club free food and drink, what has anyone heard about the food experience for the new stadium? Will they sell beer and wine? Top of the line food options? I figure my seats are $200 a game cheaper than Wilson Club so I have some change to throw around...

Any idea who provides the food? Levy?

Offerings will include:
  • 2-game-old fair-trade, guilt-free "beef" hotdogs with a complimentary industrial-oven-baked stale white bread bun--served with a splash of watery relish and Sodexo's award-winning mustard substitute
  • Salt-free, gluten-free salted pretzels served with the chef's interpretation of vegan nacho cheese
  • Hyphen-free Cracker Jacks for the poors
  • Meat that was once BBQ
  • And everyone's favorite soft drink, Pepsi Zero.
While the menu has changed, you can expect the delightful service to remain the same.

Will the hot dogs be cooked in the previous hour or so? Or should we go with the classic WR recipe?

Thought Sodexo was out. Have to find another source of mustard substitute and maybe the watery relish as well

We should have chalupas and churros.

But we still have to use up our stockpile of Sodexo product. We can't donate it, unfortunately, because nobody will take it.

didn't someone say here a few weeks ago that they received a survey from NU asking about how much they'd pay for alcohol at NU games?

I hear they serve dog meat at ND games.

I work part-time in the concessions during Kane County Cougars games. They are run by Levy (Compass Group). Here is the menu at Kane County:

Wow, this would be a huge step up.

I notice that the sponsor for the Cougars is Northwestern Medicine. Wonder if this isn't a coincidence and some Trustees or something sat in on a Cougs game and thought, why shouldn't we have Oreo Stuffed Churros at NU games? Only thing missing are some Chalupas and maybe a Taco Bowl.

Some of our front line intelligence on the enemy has also uncovered the following:

I'm excited. No more shitty hot dogs for ECAT.

You forgot the shit sandwiches

I'm sure Levy will be fine. The best thing NU has done with concessions lately is to sell items from local restaurants at the football games. I hope they keep or expand that at Ryan Field and bring it to WRA.

Maybe we combine this thread with the other one above and suggest NU serve Malnatti’s Pizza at the games. Just set up a pizza oven at the game and crank them out hot and fresh.
