New RB coach

Knowing nothing more than what is in this tweet, it seems like a nice hire!

Couple of other things:
* Recruiting Coordinator at ECU and was associate HC at Georgia Southern before that. Also did a few seasons at App State, which I generally think of as having "a winning culture."
* 2004 GW grad (younger than Fitz), where he was a running back (and today I learned GW has a football program!)

I don't want to make too much of it, but it's impressive to me that this guy was a Broyles Award nominee for the past two seasons; just affirms that a composite of CFB people think highly of this guy. Also gives me hope that Fitz's other hires this off-season aren't a bunch of randos or just the ones who picked up the phone when he called after going 1-11. With the exception of the DC and D-Line hires, the others have been a concern for me on the basis of their Big Ten/NU readiness "on paper."

2 replies. now 3. Good hire apparently, but the proof is in the pudding, and Fitz is apparently re-thinking how to make pudding, which will determine if we have our grandmother's pudding,. or some ordinary, packaged version.

Fits the model of finding younger/hot coaches that have been having success at their position/level and should have upside (even if it means there's potential flight risk).

Agree with @TheC, just what's in the tweet is impressive enough over the past 3 years.
