If anyone visits, please post if they carry Northwestern Gothic apparel. I'm sorry I didn't pick up a hoodie when they were first available.

I was there yesterday. It's a nice store, an immersive experience. Northwestern and notre dame had about an equal amount of gear available. I don't think I have ever seen that before. They have a pat Fitzgerald signed football and helmit sitting in a case across from a Brian kelly signed football and helmit. Unfortunately I saw no gothic apparel. Can you purchase it online?

I can remember 20 years ago when the Cats burst upon the college football scene in 1995 that nobody could find any NU gear anywhere but across the street from the stadium! The Cats have come a long way since then and I think they are here to stay. Chicago will always be a crowded sports market place but we have earned some creds here in football and I think things are picking up in basketball. We will always be indebted to Gary Barnett for saving the sports program. Walker and Fitz have built on that. I think Carmody really helped lift basketball out of the gutter (stopped us from being a laughingstock) He didn't do it to Barnett's level, but he did set us up to actually be able to attract someone like Chris Collins. I don't think he would have considered the job five years earlier.

It's still difficult to find NU gear locally. The Dick's at Village Crossing in the Skoke/Morton Grove area has one rack for gear. Other B1G schools like MSU and Michigan sport more gear than the 'Cats at a location not far from Ryan Field. I always find it really disappointing.

This will change only with W's.

I got the last gothic football hoodie at the place on Central over homecoming weekend. They said they wouldn't be stocking them anymore and were a one time thing, but that could very well have been a push to get me to throw down $100 for it despite it being a size too large on me. I've got to imagine that now that they're doing the "gothic" for all our sports that there might be a full section for that style soon enough.
