I know this is premature since this season is still going on but I'm really excited about next year. If (and this is a huge if because of our cursed history) we can avoid injuries, next year's team looks like our best and deepest in a long time. And, based on graduation and expected early draft entrants, we're losing significantly less than almost every other team in the conference. It will be the first time in a long time (maybe ever) that I think our talent will rank at least in the middle of the conference. Even our best teams under Carmody were more a function of the system and coaching than true talent. Those teams maybe had three or four legitimate Big 10 players but poor depth.
