We know that four-star Top 100 wing Luke Goode is visiting Northwestern from Thursday to Saturday to check out the basketball program, but the Wildcat football program will have more than a dozen prospects in the Ryan Field stands when NU takes on Iowa on Saturday.
WildcatReport has learned that there will be five Class of 2020 commitments in Evanston, as well as a mix of 2020 and 2021 prospects, and at least one 2022 in whom the Cats are already showing interest.
Here is the guest list:
2020 Commitments
LS Will Halkyard (PWO)
DE Sean McLaughlin
LB Xander Mueller
OL Josh Priebe
SB Hunter Welcing
2020 Prospects
Greyson Metz is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound outside linebacker from Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard West. He has 16 offers, including Iowa, Louisville and Syracuse from the Power Five. He could be a candidate for one of the last scholarships, as NU would like to land another OLB.
Kendall Moore is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound outside linebacker from St. Paul (Minn.) East Ridge. He is a guy that has flown under the radar -- he's not in the Rivals database and 247 doesn't list any offers for him.
Jack Moses is a 5-foot-11, 180-pound athlete from Lake Zurich (Ill.). He is a teammate of superback commit Hunter Welcing and has visited Northwestern before. He has eight offers from FCS and lower-level schools and may be a preferred walkon candidate.
2021 Prospects
Justin Brosnan is a 6-foot-3, 170-pounder from Park Ridge (Ill.) Maine South, the alma mater of Peter Skoronski (as well as Matt Alviti). I couldn't find any film of him online (or much about him, at all). He is the younger brother of Penn State junior OL Brendan Brosnan,
Kaleb Higgins is a 6-foot-3, 173-pound athlete from Folsom (Calif.). He has early offers from Baylor, Boston College and Cal. He just picked up his offer from the Golden Bears last Saturday on a visit, so we'll see if NU follows suit.
Ezra McAllister is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound athlete from Marshall (Mich.). He holds offers from Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan, and Big Ten programs will likely be joining them sooner or later.
Connor Weselman is a 6-foot-4 P/K from Atlanta (Ga.) Westminster. Kohl's Kicking Camps ranks him as the No. 28 kicker and No. 7 punter in the nation for 2021.
2022 Prospects
Nevan Cremascoli is a 6-foot-3 QB from nearby Willmette (Ill.) New Trier. He doesn't have a page in the Rivals database as of yet, but probably will soon enough.
