With Penn State's win earlier today, the Wildcats must win to lock up the number nine seed in the Big Ten tournament. They open the second half with a 15-point lead

Great showing by the students but still lots of empty purple seats. Don't those people have friends that they can give their tickets to?

Nebraska's getting its outside shot to fall, connecting on a 3 and a couple of deep 2s. The problem for the Cornhuskers is, they can't find a way to stop Olah and Demps, who have six of the Wildcats' eight points so far in the half. Olah opened the half by getting stuck under the basket and almost falling out of bounds, before finding a cutting McIntosh for a wide-open layup for the only non-senior basket of the half. 45-31 Northwestern at the under-16.

Shavon Shield, who averages over 16 points per game, has just six on 1-for-8 shooting from the field. The Wildcats are starting to settle for jumpers a bit, and this game could get a bit closer if Nebraska continues to hit the outside shots it couldn't hit before halftime

Scottie Lindsey's tip-in ends a streak of nearly six minutes without a field goal for the Wildcats. Still, Northwestern is shooting just5-for-17 from the field this half, while Nebraska already has equaled its total number of field goals from the first half with 8 thus far. It's 49-40 at the under-8 TO

NU needs to get the ball inside to to Olah or Pardon. Need points and Lumpkin is in, why?

Everything is going Nebraska's way, as the lead is down to 55-49 with 3:22 to go. A Tai Webster air-ball turned into a layup for Shavon Shields, while the Wildcats have missed their last four shots badly. They're also up to six turnovers on the half, struggling against a press they broke easily before halftime

All-too familiar pattern of building a big lead then letting the other team back in the game. Need to put the Corndogs away!
