I wasnt at the game saturday but when JJ only avg 3 or so yards a carry that means our ol did poorly. Duke is no pushover and will score. Our OL has to be better to win.

Im very concerned about our offense insomuch that duke will b really tough to beat at home.

Also michigan looked good and so did illinois. Im still thinking 8-4 but with not with upward mo. I think we are a legit 8-4 team. Strictly due to our defense. We have the same issues at wr and ol and at some point fitz has to address this.

We need our wr to get open.

Nationally, nobody is saying Duke is better than Stanford. Presuming that they are directionally correct, we have a good chance on Saturday. Of course, these pundits brought you #6 Auburn and ranked Arkansas, so...

Duke is tough. It will b a very strong road test for us. We are too but none of us should b surprised that we are 3pt dogs. i remain uncomfortable with our ol and its health but i think our defense will carry us against a first year starting qb.

Turk, I'm gonna demote you to number two poster with this kind of post! Thorson threw the ball unbelievably well Saturday. We played a very, very Vanilla offense! We are absolutely loaded at running back this year! I love Vault,Anderson,and Long,besides JJ! We will beat Duke for sure! Guess I will be anointed to my rightful throne as top poster on here with my steadfast assertion that the Cats will win the West Division.

I semi-agree with Turk. All we know is that barring significant injuries we have a chance to be competitive in every game this year. It doesn't mean we'll be better than every team when we play them or that we'll win all the competitive or less than competitive games. Nearly the whole western division has reason to feel optimistic after Saturday. It's good that we are included in that group.
