I reached out to some 2023 NU wide receiver targets to see what was going on. A couple of them got back to me. There's some good news and bad news.
Krystian Williams is still high on Northwestern and says that he is working with coaches on setting up his official visit to NU "right now." He visited NU on April 9 and told me the visit "100% exceeded expectations." He also has yet to set up any other officials. I feel pretty good that this guy will wind up a Cat.
Unfortunately, Joshua Manning said that Northwestern is no longer in the picture for him. He said he's "gone in a different direction" since visiting NU on April 9. He also said that he wants to "stay a little bit more closer to home." Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas and Nebraska are the schools he's visited the most that are closer to Kansas City. However, he just picked up an offer from Notre Dame this week.
