Now, I'm Nervous

I'm really surprised to see the writers and the fans picking Iowa over Wisconsin at Wisconsin! What is with the Iowa love? Have they played anybody yet?

Both teams are nervous and have a right to be. We Gopher fans are thrilled with 3-1 the way our offense has played. Especially given that 7 players on the line are out, including the top two tight ends. Our QB is due for a break out game. He gets one every year and came close last week. I can see why you cat fans are a little suspicious as well, given the offensive turnovers. Should be a great game and like many will come down to a great play or ill-timed turnover.

Oh yeah, I also agree with TheC. No way do I put money on Iowa at Madison. Would actually like to see 'em both loose, but even the goofy B1G officials can't make that happen.

I'm not nervous, but that's not because I think we're sure to win. I would not be surprised at all to see a loss this week and a win next week at Michigan. It would mean we're watching Northwestern Football.

What are you some kind of Zen monk? Next thing you know you will be telling us there is balance in the universe and for every team that wins , a team loses. Forget that stuff man, this is America!

I guess maybe I just remember all the way back to 2014, when we lost to NIU and Cal and then beat Penn State and Wisconsin, lost to a pretty poor Michigan and Illinois but beat Notre Dame.

I have a base level of nervousness playing any opponent, so I don't think it's worth becoming more nervous in facing a particular opponent. If we win this week, and man oh man if we win NEXT week, just WAIT until you see how nervous everyone's going to be from here on out.

Well, all I can say is, "You are very cool." Not sarcasm. Because I'm sort of home bound theses last few weeks all I can do is think about these stupid games and the great start of the season. As soon as I try to do anything more substantial, I fall asleep.

No doubt there will be an October surprise, but I doubt it will be Minnesota. More likely it will be getting clobbered by one of Michigan, Iowa or Nebraska (or all three).
Sorry to say I would not be "Surprised by losing to any or all of them. I would be surprised if we lose to Purdue or Illinois (baring more injuries).
