We saw a sweet sixteen or elite eight team these last couple days! Quite honestly, I don’t think we can play much better. Certainly, this team can compete for the BT Title. Scottie,Law,and Falzon represent the best shooting guard/forwards in the BT! Plus, our defense is starting to look like Wisconsin. We are getting set nearly every time on defense. You have to contest those open looks for three every time.

No. No. No. Beating Chicago St. and Valpo who is missing their top scorer does not mean that NU is an Elite 8 or Sweet 16 team. NU is improving, but needs to take care of business on Saturday and will take care of Lewis and then they face a huge task at Oklahoma with the nation's leading scorer in freshman Trae Young who is projected as a NBA first round pick at 28.5 ppg. Young is right up there with Marvin Bagley III and D'Andre Ayton who are in the running for the freshman of the year and maybe NCAA Player of the Year. FYI, Bagley and Ayton are top NBA players and you should look at them if you want to know what a future NBA player and star looks like.

No, contrary to your comical posts, McIntosh, Lindsey, Skelly and Ash are not projected as NBA draft picks in the first or second rounds. As for the Big 10 title, that looks like MSU's title to lose and Purdue is in the top 3 and we have a loss to PU already. You should focus on NU getting quality wins so that they bolster their NCAA tournament resume. The last non-conference game to bolster their resume is next Friday in Norman, Oklahoma. Oklahoma has one loss this season and just beat USC, a top 20 team before the season on the road which is more impressive than any win NU has so far.

Wrassler- all we need now is some more quality wins against teams like Purdue and msu! I was at the creighton game last nite and yes! we looked great. And guess what?? I sat right behind former Chi Bear Matt Suey. My buddy told me it was him and we introduced ourselves to him! Let's continue to sustain the momentum, win the rest of the ooc games and then beat up on the Big ten teams so we get to the tourney! And then, the sky is the limit for what we can accomplish!!

Ash will hold Trea Young to 15 points!

Encouraging, but NU needs to play tougher opponents to grow.

With one extra made three by Skelly vs PUrdue, we would have/should have won that game. And it was in their hostile arena. PU is a bonafide Final 4 contender/top seed contender. With a little more ouumph, we will win those games like that if we play D like I know we can and have over the past several games! My eyes for a "BIG" win are now directly on msu!! IF we play our game, hit shots and limit the to's we can win that game!! Then bring on Coach K and the Duke-boys!!

Haha I wish I can be optimistic about Duke as you are about Duke or NW.

Making the elite eight is a threshold that even blue bloods struggle with.

Ash and Law set the tone on defense! All of our recent success has been because of stellar defense! Lock Down Time! The team is buying into the culture of defense first!
