No. No. No. Beating Chicago St. and Valpo who is missing their top scorer does not mean that NU is an Elite 8 or Sweet 16 team. NU is improving, but needs to take care of business on Saturday and will take care of Lewis and then they face a huge task at Oklahoma with the nation's leading scorer in freshman Trae Young who is projected as a NBA first round pick at 28.5 ppg. Young is right up there with Marvin Bagley III and D'Andre Ayton who are in the running for the freshman of the year and maybe NCAA Player of the Year. FYI, Bagley and Ayton are top NBA players and you should look at them if you want to know what a future NBA player and star looks like.
No, contrary to your comical posts, McIntosh, Lindsey, Skelly and Ash are not projected as NBA draft picks in the first or second rounds. As for the Big 10 title, that looks like MSU's title to lose and Purdue is in the top 3 and we have a loss to PU already. You should focus on NU getting quality wins so that they bolster their NCAA tournament resume. The last non-conference game to bolster their resume is next Friday in Norman, Oklahoma. Oklahoma has one loss this season and just beat USC, a top 20 team before the season on the road which is more impressive than any win NU has so far.
