NU Lax rockin the Gothic Unis

Coming off a victory over higher ranked Syracuse, NU gonna sport the new Gothic Uniforms versus number 1 ranked Maryland.

I love the Gothic look. Unique, classy, ties to signage on campus. Would like to see this move to a regular uni design.

These are Under Armour's best one-off work with us since they came on board. Really love the set and its ties with campus.

It's perfect that we're rolling out the Gothic look for this game. The Marylanders on the LaxPower message board have been calling us "the Evil Empire," the "Death Star," and the team from "Evilston" for years.

Maryland will be sporting new uniforms as well. All red with state flag patterns on the shoulder and near the skirt hem line.

As someone on Laxpower said, Thursday will be a fashion show and if we're lucky a lacrosse game will break out!

Man, something I am really not getting with the Gothic unis. So not a fan. Keep thinking they should be the uniforms for Hogwarts. But I cannot argue with the near universal praise they keep getting. Must just be me. Go Hogwarts!

Hopefully we get to chant "LAKE! LAKE! LAKE!" to some of the Terrapins, since it's probably going to be a rough game.

Let's see...special uniforms+high profile opponent+night game= sure loss. Hope I'm wrong, though!

For what it's worth, I like the Gothic style, just don't like the black.
