NU makes Top 5 for Rivals150 G Jordan Lathon

What from that story doesn't sound promising?

Butler: "Special".
Wake: "ACC is second to none".
ISU: "Coach and I talk daily"

His comment on NU" "Intriguing".

"Intriguing" is like saying "she has a great personality"......

Does Lathon have eyes for NU? I'm not sure what to think. It is almost like he needs to visit campus again. I hope we get this kid, but it is hard to get a grip on his focus.

I don't know, you get to walk into a big ten program that, potentially, has made the tournament two years running and start at point guard. With noone really pressing for your minutes.

And on your team you have Law, Pardon, Brown, Benson, Rap and Falzon who all have two or more seasons under their belts.

And you're going to be playing in a brand new stadium.

And you are going to an elite academic school.

If he prefers one of those other schools, god bless him.

He's at least as good a prospect as Ayo IMHO. And if you have a preference for bigger, stronger and more explosive athletes, he's a better prospect than Ayo IMHO. Hope his wrist surgery goes well and that he has a full recovery. Lathon has some serious upside to his future game.

Collins has set the next few years up nicely ...

I think intriguing is a very apt way to describe Northwestern for a top rated recruit who a few years ago never would have considered us.
