Northwestern has offered three-star athlete Elijah Hicks of La Mirada (Calif.), Rivals Adam Gorney tweeted tonight.
The 6-foot, 170-pounder reports 25 offers. Nine are from the Pac-12, including UCLA and Oregon. He has said in the past that academics are a priority for him, and he also holds offers from Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Vanderbilt and Boston College.
Hicks grew up in Oklahoma, so he may not be married to staying on the West Coast. He plans to visit Vanderbilt, as well as the Ivy League schools on his list.
Hicks is listed as a cornerback on his highlight tape, but he has wide receiver and special teams highlights, too.
