It's unfortunate what happened to Eric Berry, who will hopefully have a swift recovery from cancer. In the meantime, the Chiefs will have to find a new safety.

This strikes me as a pretty deep class, though one absent game-changer types. The safety position was devalued for a while, but the use of the spread has made it a more important position in recent drafts. Unfortunately for the Bears, they have yet to figure this out.
 
Interesting that the report on him for nfl.com states that he is 7th round or free agent and now he is being guessed as 3rd round.

My guess is that the NFC North scout who appeared to provide most of the input for the weaknesses was not focusing on 2014 footage and was seeing earlier action. Also the combine appears to have helped a lot.
 
I wonder if Hall could get drafted to play ST. It's pretty rare for guys to get drafted for that role, but ace ST players like Ayenbadejo have made careers out of playing coverage. Hall's speed and athleticism might work well there.
