I worked the phones last night, and while I didn't get anything story-worthy, here are some updates from various prospects:

- Kicker Blake Gillikin of Atlanta visited NU last Wednesday and Thursday. I will interview him tonight, so look for a story soon. He's looking to make a decision in mid to late June.

- Defensive tackle Adam Korutz visited NU over Memorial Day Weekend as planned (per his Twitter), but I haven't been able to contact him since. He has picked up offers from Syracuse and Boston College since the last time I spoke to him (again, per his Twitter). I've tried him multiple times and his silence seems odd, as we went back and forth several times previously.

- Offensive tackle Ryan McCollum is planning to visit NU at the end of the June but hasn't set a date yet. He's set to embark on Friday for a whirlwind camp tour that will take him to seven schools. I think he's more focused on some of the schools on his camp list than NU, as his scholarship will likely be gone by the end of June.

- Guard commit Cameron Kolwich will visit NU on Thursday. He was originally planning to visit yesterday but rescheduled.

- Remember Charles Callender? He's the DE from Miami that called NU his favorite school last August, before he was even recruited. It looks like NU is not interested in him and he hasn't heard from them in quite a while. He said that recruiter Marty Long didn't go down to see him during the evaluation period. He's got a big offer list that includes Wisconsin, Clemson and Virginia, however. He said his favorites are Harvard, Yale, Penn, Columbia, Oregon State, Colgate and Syracuse. That's a pretty odd short list, no?
