Just spotted the prediction thread posted yesterday. No need to duplicate.

NU has shown little ability to score even with Sullivan in there. Without him, it could be brutal. My optimistic picks are

PU 28
NU 10. If Sullivan plays

PU 34
NU 3. If Sullivan doesn’t play.

where is Tom Matte when we need him?

Clash of my alma maters.

Undergrad Petes 35
Grad Willies 28

Purdue's secondary is suspect. As mentioned above, it all depends on who is able to start at QB for NU.

Purdue 38
Cats 0

I think you're not far off, unfortunately. I predicted back in August that Hilinski was going to really step up this year and take our offense back to solid and consistent productivity. We know how that has turned out - and why should it be different tomorrow (if he plays instead of Sully)?

I also predicted in early October that NU would put together one solid full team performance sometime this season, possibly win a second game.... and Purdue was our best chance to do that. We did that for a half against Maryland, but not a full game. It could still happen tomorrow - but I don't think so. I expect that "Good" Purdue will show up, the team that knocked off Illinois last week, focused and on their game, with the Big Opportunity that's now in front of them.

Purdue: A Lot
Cats: A Little

During the Dark Ages we would leave Dyche at halftime ( after the NUMB show) because hope had been extinguished. Today, the channel will probably be changed sometime in the 2Q
.Would that TV covered the halftime bands.
