The Cats are coming off a drubbing in Iowa City and travel to West Lafayette for what may be their best chance for a win the rest of this season. NU's defense continues to play well, though being on the wrong side of time of possession means they wear down as games go deep into the 2nd half.

Purdue is balanced in its mediocrity and have just one win, though they did take Illinois to overtime. This has all the signs of a B1G West (RIP) rock fight. Taking the under seems like an easier prediction than the score, but:

Big Drum 10
Big Cats 16

Boiler down: 27-10

Like Maryland but with less turnovers and no Roman Hemby

Defense keeps us in the game with safety and touchdown. Luke wins it on a 55 yard FG on fourth and inches.

Who is playing for NU?

Mueller? out?
Uihlein? out?
that seems like a problem.

Kirtz? possible?

If Hilinski plays most of the game, we will score 30.
If Mueller and Uihlein are both out, Purdue will score 30.

I'll say NU 31 Purdue 30

I think NU is going to play like trash and lose. And it makes me sad to predict that. And I hope I’m so wrong.

Vibes, bruh.

When I went to University of Arizona, I shared a lab office with a Purdue grad that did in fact become an astronaut

And was the secretary an NU grad who studied astronomy?

Sorry. I couldn't resist. Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

He won't. The only way he would is if Lausch throws 2 pick-sixes, at which point we're probably dead. I say this because Braun and Lujan are married to the idea that Lausch is QB, apparently because of his pre game preparation...

Yes Sir. Purdue coming off a bye, we're banged up, we're struggling on offense.... but man, we just gotta win this one.

So what the heck - with the Moose Sighting and a big glass of purple koolaid I predict:

Big City Engineers 20
Country Engineers 17
