NU-Purdue second half thread

Northwestern hits three of its first four field goals in the second half (an Olah, a Demps floater and a layup by Falzon), leading to a Purdue timeout. 34-29 Purdue.

I like Skelly's game, I have no idea why Lumpkin gets minutes over him.

Gavin Skelly will shoot Northwestern's second and third free throws after the under-16 timeout, with a chance to cut into a 39-34 deficit

Don't see a way back here, sadly. PU gonna be shooting free throws for half of the game.

43-37 Purdue at the under-12 timeout. Pardon has four fouls, Olah, Lumpkin, van Zegeren and Skelly have three. Northwestern has nine team fouls to one for Purdue this half

Tre Demps has Northwestern's last four points and 16 overall, cutting the lead to 54-48 at the under-8 timeout. Pardon already fouled out, while Skelly and Olah have four each. For as many fouls as Northwestern has committed this half, (13) it seems to have taken Purdue out of its offensive rythym, as they missed ten straight field goals at one point

Game set match...our shooters not making wide open threes...their non-shooters are. Hill with his 1st three of the year to seal the game.

Purdue hit Northwestern with an 8-0 run on back-to-back threes and a Hammons and-one to stretch the lead to 14. A McIntosh 3 off of an Olah offensive board cut the lead to 64-53 with less than four minutes to go, but Northwestern's offense has been in a rut for the last four minutes

Back-to-back offensive rebounds put Purdue up nine, likely ending the game with under a minute to go
