NU QB Recruiting

With Hill going to Maryland, it looks like our top target at QB is Sears out of California. Seems like a good fit for us, but he has a long list of offers and a West Coast kid. Is NU really in the mix here, or are we targeting some other QB's at this point.

I have always thought NU's offense was in a better position with a dual threat quarterback. Are there any that are good candidates for our offense?

Sears is a very good dual threat QB. Just watch his highlights. Someone suggested that Kustok was a good comp for Sears and after watching his HUDL highlights I completely agree. It's uncanny how much he plays like Zak. I think we have a legitimate shot to get him but it is by no means a slam dunk.

I know his stats weren't off the charts, but I loved watching Kustok running the offense. If Sears is, as you say, anything like that, he'd be a tremendous get. Fingers crossed.
