On its trip to Spain, Northwestern will lean heavily on senior 7-footer Alex Olah, who's no stranger to international basketball.

Story: World traveler

As much as you'd like these Northwestern educated young men to talk about the art and history and culture of Spain, at the end of the day, the thing they appear to be most interested in is seeing Barcelona's soccer stadium. McIntosh said the same thing. I guess they are still kids. Hopefully, something else will grab them on their trip.

Well, they are sports fans and Camp Nou is an absolute cathedral of sport.

One thing we may not grasp is that in the rest of the world soccer is a much bigger deal than BB or American FB. Olah is from that world culture and understands the greatness of the stadium. By world standards there is nothing like it in the US.

Maybe so, but

Yeah.... but at least one of them has to have taken an art or architecture course at NU and is looking forward to some Goya or Gaudi.
