All white is great. White with purple silk-front pants is even better! It was a goal of mine to wear that uniform when I was a freshman. Miracle of miracles, I was able to several times my sophomore year..

"All white", which is to say, "current white NU uniforms with white pants".

Six months away and I had forgotten that, without question, NU has gotten the light-colored unis right.

We kinda look like Penn State in those uniforms. Is that a good thing?

Black jerseys on purple pants still the best. And still the only unis we wore to go with three championship rings.

I also prefer the black jerseys with purple pants for the home uniforms. The all-white uniforms look great for away games. I also love the black matte helmets with the silver outlined N, the ones we used in the Gator Bowl.

Oh, we already wore them--I thought this was some new white uniform design. I saw them up close and personal at this game, and we did look great in them, until the touchdown on the Minnesota runback. At that point there was not a uniform in the world that would have cheered me up.

The Black Uniforms aren't going anywhere. I don't mind mixing things up once in a while, but not all the time.

I think the purple tops who look better with the Northwestern stripe in white. You can't see the black on the purple.
