By position:

.QB ... His football IQ, personality and feet will be more important than his arm in where Hunter Johnson leads this team in 2019.
.RB ... Bowser and Moten wil be a solid 1-2 punch, but Anderson will make some big plays this year. He might be a year or 2 from becoming a legitimate DAIII.
.WR ... As many as 5 players will get more touches, but Holman has the tools to provide some unexpected big plays this year.
.SB ... Without a true bell cow or 2 on offense, every position has to contribute to moving the chains and scoring TDs. We need Pugh to strut his stuff this year.
.OL ... I expect to see penalties of aggression and adaptation from a "good enough" unit early in the year, followed by a strong 2nd half of the season.
.DE ... This one is easy. We have the best set of 4 DEs in the West, possibly in the BIG. Life will be easier for our DBs this year.
.DT ... I can't wait to see a healthy Saunders and a 300 lb. Miller in the middle this year. Don't be surprised if we see Gold burn his shirt.
.LB ... Don't be disappointed if Burgin is our game 1 starter vs. Stanford. It will take a darn good player to beat him out, and if that happens it is more likely to occur later in the year.
.S ... Whillock and Pace are locked and loaded. Who will provide depth? Jackson? Bullock? McDonald? Azema?
.CB ... Newsome, Brown and Ruiz will be "good enough" to win most games. But throughout the season ... and especially against Stanford, Nebraska and OSU ... they are going to have to be very good at times. Faced with choices to make, I expect teams will choose to test our secondary. Will they be up to it on the corners? How much 4-2-5 will teams force us to play?
