Clayton Thorson is 8-of-10 for 71 yards in the first half. That's 7.1 ypa. Not too shabby.

Minnesota's last four drives netted 21 yards.

What a catch. They will call that back.

That was still a great play and opens things up

Anyone still dislike Thorson now? I mean Vault made an amazing catch, but Thorson put it where only his receiver could make the catch. Beautiful.

The TD should have counted...nevertheless you do not judge a QB on a single play, good or bad...I thought that was obvious.

I think Long got his bell rung at the end of that last drive. Has anyone seen him

JJ just gets tougher late in the game! One of my favorite recent 'Cats!

Nice thing about a D like this, we don't need to score too many points to make the other team feel our boot on their throat!

A 10-point lead with this defense in the fourth quarter makes me VERY confident. A 20-point lead might as well be a hundred, because when NU forces other teams into passing downs, good things happen.

This MN O looks downright inept...hopefully it is our D that is even better than thought.

Imagine how bad they'd look if the refs actually enforced pick plays too. Is officiating really that difficult? Maybe it is, but at this level you would expect it to be better.
