The day is coming quickly where we outgrow Kincaid's and need a larger venue. its going to be a mob scene in there.
NU should show on the scoreboard at W-R and let students in for free and charge the general public $5 - open up concession stands. The bulls did this for their away games back when they used to win championships - I watched Jordan's famous last shot over Byron Russell there - ton of fun. Renovations may prevent NU from doing anything this year.
Someone asked about that on Twitter and the Athletic Department responded the renovation would prevent them from opening WRA again.
Any idea if they're doing something on campus instead?

I noticed this on the NAA page, as well. Lots of options. I'll be passing on Kincade's, since I want to take my daughter and I was informed when I called that they do not allow kids in after 4pm.

Yeah, I'm definitely hoping Norris is open to alums/public, because that would be the best option for me.

it says it's open to "fans," so you should be good to go!
I will be at Cruz Blanca, it's about a mile from work, easy to get to. GO CATS!!
Kudos to NU and the Norris Center folks. Great setup, with free food and beverages. All the local news crews were on hand, and there were several hundred people watching, and *loud.* The atmosphere was just great, with a good mix of students and alums, and I hope to be back there Saturday.
I was at the "other" official watch party at Kincade's, hosted by the NU Club of Chicago. It was packed with a couple hundred Cat fans -- mostly 20-somethings plus a few old guys like me. Electric from start to finish.
