I read Teddy G’s Twitter that that was a ‘misscommunication’ Any details as to how that happened? That was pretty bad. Could have been very bad, had Wiscy scored on either of their following drives. I’m sure it was Cushing’s fault somehow.
But frankly, I don’t think it’s a reach to expect a senior, 4 year starter at QB to get that play, and say ‘WTF!?’ and call timeout. It’s not like the clock was running or we needed all our T.O.s at that point. Or is that just something no QB would do in that situation and would accept the play as called?
