Being a NU basketball fan truly takes a strong hearted individual. I would still follow games all the way to the final buzzer back when we would go winless in fhe big ten. Those games weren't even close. Throughout the MSU game I was almost positive we would still lose. I had texts coming in at halftime asking me what the chances were that we would blow it. I told them about 70% considering our short bench and fouls mounting. That damn game clock was our worst enemy and sure enough it was the worst half we played all season. I purposely did not post anything until now because my emotions are always running high and my frustration is usually thru the roof for at least 24hrs after a loss like that. This season is full of ‘What Ifs’ and that prettt much sums it up. I really wish these last 3 games meant something, but it will be interesting to see if we still come out with any type of fight. There will be plenty of question marks for next season and who will contribute right away, but our mental state of mind and edge must return for the program to remain headed in the right direction. The MSU game was our offical burial for any postseason hopes, but I always wonder when a comback like that happens, or something very embarrassing happens to one of our programs like we witnessed Saturday, why does this always happen to us. When will these type of things stop happing to our teams?

Lets go win the last 3 and hope for a miracle at MSG. Go Cats!!

No big surprise there. Dang!!!
Still stings. All we had to do to was execute 3 or 4 plays sucessfully in the 2nd half and we hang on for the win and the story would have been ‘NU survives furious MSU rally’ it would have given us 2 solid wins over MICH and MSU and we would have had a very good shot at the NIT.
