If you’ve noticed something different happening these past 290 million years, it’s not just you—the rate of asteroids striking Earth and the moon have increased sharply, from once every 3 million years to once every 1 million years. Be careful out there. Mom says, bring an umbrella.
Is this like 100 year floods happening a lot more often? Let's blame it on global warming.
 
It would be just NU's luck to have an asteroid hit earth the week we play in our first national championship game.
