Wisconsin has been, and overall is, the beneficiary of a favorable schedule (no games at Illinois or NU, thus far their only games against top 5 teams in conference have been Cats and UNL at home). While they beat MSU at East Lansing pretty easily, MSU has been playing much better lately. I think this is a game that’s could bring the Badgers back to the pack a little.

The line is only Wisconsin -3, which screams trap to me much like when Illinois was favored by 3.5 at home against MSU and won by 3.

And yet Michigan State is way ahead of NU in the computer ratings. What a joke! Spartans played a tougher schedule, granted, but they haven't beaten any good Big Ten teams. They do have good non-conference wins over Baylor and Indiana State and over fairly good Butler (all at home), and they have run up the scores on the little fish, but come on....They have a very favorable schedule to sneak into the dance again. Only play Purdue once.

Beating IL and Purdue while keeping WI in Madison as a good game is a resume all by itself to any reasonable person.
